This website was created to provide a platform for the free exchange of information regarding the development and utilization of CubeSat satellites. The main focus is on fostering the further standardization of CubeSat missions, with the objective to make missions better compatible to each other and to improve collaborations.

Originally, a CubeSats is a cubic shaped picosatellite of 10 x 10 x 10 cm³ volume and a mass of up to 1 kg that adheres to the CubeSat Design Specification. Nowadays, also multiples of this cubes are covered in the specification, with their size specified in units, such as 2U or 3U CubeSats.
